Glen has served as the pastor of Pantano Baptist Church for 24 years, leading folks on a progressive journey of faith often filled with more questions than answers. Sermons are biblical, creative, practical and relevant...intended to make people think.
Glen grew up in Houston, TX and graduated high school in Lafayette, LA. The next stops were Baylor University, where he earned a B.A. in Religion and Southwestern Seminary, graduating with a Master of Divinity. He then served as pastor of First Baptist Church in Little River, TX and First Baptist Church in Rosebud, TX, both eight years each.
Debbie and Glen have been married 43 years. They are proud grandparents of Hazel, Rosie, and Foster...the children of daughter Katelyn and her husband Walker. Rounding out the family is Sophie, the pug.
Hobbies include traveling, all sports but especially baseball, playing the guitar and writing songs. Favorite teams are the Baylor Bears, Houston Astros, and Arizona Diamondbacks.
In addition to pastoring at Pantano Baptist Church, Glen is the Coordinator of CBF West (the western region of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship).

Kim Brewer is a native of Lewisville, Texas, where she grew up and attended Texas Women’s University before moving to the Chicagoland area in 2001 with the intent of pursuing a career in information technology and operations management.
Ten years later, after experiencing a life-changing event, she moved back to her home state of Texas to pursue a Master of Divinity degree at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. After her first preaching class with Dr. W. Hulitt Gloer, she realized that God was calling her to be a pastor.
In 2019, an opportunity presented itself, and Kim was selected to fill the newly-created position of Associate Pastor at Pantano Baptist Church. In May, 2019, she began her new duties and moved to Tucson, along with her husband Jason.
She is still pursuing the completion of a Master of Divinity degree, and she was ordained on January 17, 2021. Her enthusiasm and dedication have been apparent since day one. Even though the Covid-19 pandemic has put a damper on personal contacts, she has still found ways to help and inspire those in our church family and beyond.
Kim and Jason have been married since 2017, and they have an adult son who lives in Texas. Their current household includes 3 dogs and a cat (who thinks she is a dog). Kim enjoys reading and writing, but not arithmetic. She also enjoys watching British TV shows, traveling with husband Jason, and dreaming about the mid-century furniture she would love to buy.
She believes that God is calling her to use her life experience to communicate the gospel, and to empower and encourage His people to take an active role in the priesthood of the believer. She is very passionate about issues such as addiction, poverty, and immigration, and she desires to incorporate these areas into her ministry to effect positive change in the congregation and community.
