Bible Study
In Psalm 119:27 the Psalmist says "Let me understand the teaching of your precepts".
Jesus told His disciples... "The Holy Spirit... will teach you all things and remind you of everything I have said to you". John 14:26.
Our JOY Women's Ministry understands that reading God's Word is only the beginning of our relationship with God. God loves us and His desire is to shower us with blessings so that our lives are lived in His abundance. Too often we live only thinking "WHAT MUST I DO FOR GOD?" To live the promised abundant life we must understand WHAT GOD WANTS TO DO FOR US, then allow His Spirit to lead us into His service as we go about our daily life of praise, thankfulness, and awareness of the opportunities that He presents to us.
As we pursue this relationship we enjoy special times of Bible study together. We've discussed topics like "Condemnation/Grace", Free to be me", "Responsible Royalty, and "I am God's Unique Creation". We also invite speakers... Missionaries who have opened our minds and hearts to what is being done to spread God's gift of salvation in our country and to the ends of the earth.
