Food Drives

Every day, millions of Americans are impacted by hunger and food insecurity. At the local level, thousands of food banks across the U.S. are on the front lines of the battle against hunger. These food banks fill a critical need by collecting food at the local level and making it available to those in those local communities.

The J.O.Y Women's Ministry supports these local food bank efforts by collecting non-perishable food items from our congregation. Via an arrangement with Tucson Central Church of the Nazarine, the food that we collect is distributed in the local area to needy families through their distribution network.

Food drives are conducted during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons, and special food drives can be  conducted whenever a special need is identified.

You don't need to be a member of our church to support this worthwhile cause.
