Pantano Baptist Church is a friendly, well-established community church with a history that dates back more than 50 years. Our roots were Southern Baptist, but over the years we have evolved into a unique church family that welcomes everyone, serves the Lord, and helps those in need…now identifying as and partnering with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.
Our congregation reflects the diversity of our community. Our members originate from all over the United States and several other countries. We come together to serve God, to serve our community, and to love each other. Unlike many churches, our membership reaches all over Tucson and beyond, and many of them choose to travel beyond the churches in their neighborhoods in order to experience our unique brand of worship, study, warmth, and hospitality.
Our Sunday worship has some unique aspects, such as our mix of traditional hymns and country gospel music, and the children’s sermon – just for kids! Our Pastor sings, plays several different musical instruments, and leads the congregation in song.
