Coffee & Chat

Coffee & Chat is an informal, open discussion forum that is scheduled every Thursday at 9:00 am in the classroom building at the south end of the church campus. Anyone in attendance can propose a topic or a question for discussion, and everyone is welcome to participate.  Political discussion is off limits, but just about anything else goes! Of course, there are frequent discussions about the Bible and various religious topics, but each session is unique and the discussion can lead just about anywhere on any given day. Sessions typically last about 2 hours; however, there is no set end time.

Here are some examples of interesting discussions that have occurred in the past; however, each discussion is interesting, thought-provoking, and relevant.  
  • ​Immigration - biblical and practical implications
  • The role of angels
  • Community outreach
  • Genesis creation - historical fact or theological stories
  • The intersection of fate, providence and choice

This is a wonderful fellowship opportunity, so all are invited to come, enjoy a fresh hot cup of coffee, relax, and find out what's happening with everyone present. You can request prayers for needs that you or your friends or family might have, and it is guaranteed that you will get to know everyone there just a little better... but, the best part may be that you will leave a little smarter than when you arrived!  No reservations are necessary... just show up!
