Our church also provides ongoing financial and other support to worthy missions outside our church. This support helps these dedicated missions continue their necessary and valuable work in areas that are beyond our direct reach and capabilities.
Christian Challenge U of A:
In today's world, Christian outreach to college students is more important than ever, which is why our church supports this critical mission. This local organization, based at the University of Arizona and headed by Julie Newstead, seeks to engage students with the Gospel, develop desciples of Jesus Christ, and mobilize servant leaders for the church. Arizona Baptist Children's Services:
Originally created to provide homes for displaced children, this Tucson-based mission has expanded over the years to provide hope and care to hurting children and their families. For more information about Arizona Baptist Children's Services, click HERE.
Caring Ministries:
Caring Ministries, located on the heart of south Tucson, has been providing food, clothing, and other resources to local residents for more than 40 years. In partnership with the Community Food Bank of Arizona, Caring Ministries distributes more than 5,000 tons of food every year in the tucson metro area. Tucson Refugee Mission:
The Tucson Refugee Mission was established in 2006 to build bridges between the church and the 1,300 refugees who arrive in Tucson every year from countries around the world. This mission seeks to connect the church with refugees, collaborate with various agencies, churches, and other organizations that can help them integrate into our society, cultivate cross-cultural relationships, and provide visibility to their stories.
